Ben’s path to podiatry started when he was studying his undergraduate degree in health and science where he majored in anatomy and physiology. After completing his science degree, he went on to obtain his Masters of Podiatric Practice at La Trobe University.
As a registered Podiatrist, his role as a foot specialist includes assessment, management and prevention of diseases and disorders of the foot.
Ben is thrilled to join the Morecrofts team and to assist patients achieve their goals by keeping them mobile and pain free. Prior to coming to Morecrofts, Ben has studied and worked at multidisciplinary clinics focused on high-risk and diabetic foot care. He also has extensive experience in aged care to ensure optimal patient treatment and outcomes.
Ben firmly believes that appropriate podiatric footcare by a foot care specialist is an important and vital aspect of overall health. This includes general podiatric care, routine diabetic assessment and foot screenings to musculoskeletal sporting injuries and skin lesions such as wart, tinea, fungus and callus treatment on patients of all ages. Ben believes in using a combination of holistic interventions alongside evidence based to help treat a range of lower limb pathologies.
Beside his passion for helping people out, Ben has a desire to constantly learn and study. In his spare time, Ben loves to train at the gym, play basketball, go for scenic runs and read a good book.
